Young people all around the world below 30 years
Why?
Deltas are dynamic coastal landforms that were once created by the force of rivers, waves and tides. Worldwide deltas host high-value ecosystems and provide a home to a growing number of people.
Because of their geographical positions and because of the fertility, deltas are of drivers for economic development and urban settlements. However, urban deltas are very vulnerable places too. Due the combination of climate change and urbanisation the risk on disasters in urban deltas is increasing.
That is why we need solutions for sustainable urban deltas. We need young people to showcase innovative projects!
